Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days Limited Edition 811 Fountain Pen

The Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days collection is inspired by Jules Verne’s novel. The Limited Edition 811 Fountain Pen is made of Ag 925 sterling silver and lacquer. It tells the story of Mr. Fogg and Passepartout on their final journey from Yokohama to London, crossing the U.S. by train. A gold inlay on the cap shows this train ride. The cap also shows smoke from the locomotive. The barrel has a 3D inlay of pressure valves.

The clip has a red heart symbol, showing the bond between Fogg and Princess Aouda. The card suits also refer to Fogg’s bet to finish the trip in 80 days. The top of the cap shows a timeline: 36 days from Yokohama to London, and 80 days total.

A chain design on the cone refers to a moment when Passepartout uncouples the train to save the crew from an attack. The nib is hand-crafted from 18K gold, with a 1.5 mm black spinel and card suit symbols.
