Wes Anderson’s films stand out for their clean lines, balance, and detailed visuals. He builds fictional worlds that often feel more polished and pleasant than real life. But his work isn’t just about style. Under the neat surface, his stories deal with identity, lost chances, honesty, and friendship.
For Montblanc, Anderson created “The SCHREIBERLING” – meaning “scribbler” – as part of the Rouge et Noir “Baby” series from the Heritage Collection. It takes inspiration from the compact pens of the 1910s and 1920s. Only 1,969 pieces were made, a nod to the year he was born. The set includes a fountain pen, green ink cartridges, a notebook, and a ruler.
