Patron of Art Homage to Victoria Limited Edition 888 Fountain Pen

The Montblanc Patron of Art Edition 2022 is dedicated to Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. The Limited Edition 888 includes two versions: one for Victoria, one for Albert.

The version honoring Victoria focuses on her coronation. The pen has a red translucent lacquer cap and barrel, with a solid 18K yellow gold skeleton overlay. The design takes inspiration from her coronation collar, monogram, and coronation dress.

The metal parts are platinum-coated. The clip recalls her scepter. A green Tsavorite stone represents her engagement ring. The top of the cap, shaped like a royal crown, features the Montblanc emblem in mother-of-pearl.

The cap ring is engraved with “Albert” and their wedding date, like a wedding ring. The cone has a special engraving too. The 18K bi-color gold nib shows a rose, a nod to her nickname “England’s rose.”

Montblanc uses the term “signature gold” for this specific yellow gold tone used in its pens.
