Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days Grey Solitaire LeGrand Fountain Pen

The Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days collection is inspired by Jules Verne's novel. The Solitaire LeGrand Fountain Pen, made with precious metal, tells the story of Mr. Fogg and Passepartout.

This part of the story follows their trip from Yokohama to London, crossing the U.S. by train. The cap shows a laser-engraved train. The cone has a pattern of a safety chain, recalling the moment Passepartout unhooks the train to save the crew during a Sioux attack.

The cap and barrel show pressure valves and smoke from the locomotive. The clip has a red heart symbol, referring to the bond between Fogg and Aouda. The playing card symbols also reflect Fogg’s bet to finish the journey in 80 days.

On the cap top, there’s a timeline: 36 days from Yokohama to London, completing the full 80-day trip.

The 18K gold nib is engraved with the dates 14/11 and 21/12 — the day Fogg left Yokohama and the date he planned to reach London. There’s also a hot air balloon design, nodding to Verne's first adventure story.
