Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days Blue LeGrand Fountain Pen

The Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days collection is inspired by Jules Verne’s novel. The LeGrand Fountain Pen, made of dark blue resin, tells the story of Phileas Fogg and Passepartout on their way back to London from Yokohama, crossing the U.S. by train.

There’s a train engraved on the cap. The cone shows a chain pattern, linked to the scene where Passepartout unhooks the train to save the crew from a Sioux attack. The cap also shows steam and pressure valves. The clip has a red heart from a deck of cards, symbolizing Fogg and Princess Aouda’s bond. The card suits also refer to Fogg’s bet to complete the trip in 80 days.

On the cap top, there’s a timeline: 36 days from Yokohama to London, completing the 80-day journey. The nib is made of 14K gold, engraved with the dates 14/11 and 21/12—Fogg's departure and planned return. There’s also a hot air balloon, a nod to Verne’s first adventure story.
