Design & Materials
The pen’s form is classic-round and boasts well-balanced, refined dimensions. Its cap, barrel, knob and nib-holder are crafted in resin and finished with the Japanese urushi lacquer technique known as “Tamenuri”, in a warm wood-brown tone that shifts with light, evoking a forest at sunset. Yellow gold trim complements the organic depth of the lacquer, and the exclusive SCRIBO nib comes in either 18-carat gold (sizes from EEF to Stub) or a flexible 14-carat gold option (sizes Extra Fine to Broad). The feed is ebonite (Ø 6.50 mm) with two capillaries, and the pen is supplied with a fine kimono-silk pouch tied with haori ribbons, a thoughtful detail that complements the Japanese experience. This limited-edition piece is crafted in only 123 units.
