The crafts in wood carving & in metal engraving of the James Purdey Maison is impeccable, secret and shows fineness of craftsmanship. The Barrel checkering are carved by hand and the beautiful finishing on the wood is achieved via application of a proprietary oil, „the Slacum“ for more than 10 times. The safety closure is based on riffle´s safe lock.
